Did You Know? HTML Attributes

News & Insights -Did You Know? HTML Attributes - Web Design & Development Agency - Miami | Austin - Klashtech

Hello Developers 👋🏻

Let’s talk about HTML tricks that will help to grow your web development skills and experience.

👉Accept

The accept attribute takes as its value a comma-separated list of one or more file types, or unique file type specifiers, describing which file types to allow. The accept attribute doesn’t validate the types of the selected files; it provides hints for browsers to guide users towards selecting the correct file types.

👉Spellcheck

The spellcheck global attribute is an enumerated attribute that defines whether the element may be checked for spelling errors.

👉Translate

The translate attribute specifies whether the content of an element should be translated or not.

👉Download

The download attribute specifies that the target (the file specified in the href attribute) will be downloaded when a user clicks on the hyperlink.

👉Poster

The poster attribute specifies an image to be shown while the video is downloading, or until the user hits the play button. If this is not included, the first frame of the video will be used instead.
