A first website for a Miami parish, in four languages
St Kieran is a Catholic parish serving Brickell and Bay Heights in Miami, with a congregation that worships in English and Spanish and welcomes families from across the world. In 2021, the parish had no website at all.

The situation
With no website, the essentials of parish life lived on paper, by word of mouth and on social media: Mass times, events, how to register, how to give. Newcomers had no simple way to find the parish or understand how to take part.
A parish website has an unusual audience. It has to welcome people in several languages, answer the same practical questions every week, and be easy for parish staff to keep current, because nobody there should need to call a developer to change a Mass time.
What we built
- Hosting set up from scratch, and a WordPress site designed and built for the parish
- A multilingual welcome in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, reflecting the community the parish serves
- The weekend and weekday Mass schedule, organised by language and time
- Seasonal reflections and parish news, so the site stays current through the liturgical year
- Clear paths to register as a parishioner, donate, join a ministry and find faith formation
- Links to the parish app, Facebook and Instagram, and a monthly newsletter sign-up
- Ongoing maintenance since launch, so the site stays secure and up to date

Where it stands
Live since 2021, hosted and maintained by us. The parish went from no online presence to a site that newcomers can find, in their own language, with everything they need to join parish life.
What this is an example of
A first website for a community organisation, built around the people it serves and the volunteers and staff who keep it running.
